CPR believes that an extensive education program is paramount to providing, complete, accurate and compliant provider documentation. CPR prides itself on the ability to provide initial and ongoing educational programs to the emergency department physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and support staff. CPR has developed custom education programs based on each client's specific needs. These programs have been successfully rolled out in one-on-one training sessions as well as in a group environment.
Health Care Providers
CPR performs physician seminars that focus on medical documentation issues, and updates that occur in Emergency Medicine. The first seminar, usually the most intense, takes place during the initial agreement period. Our staff visits the client's facility to educate your physicians, Physicians Assistants and Nurse practitioners. In addition to the initial training seminar, followup seminars are available, as well as the following:
• Direct telephone access to medical coders
• Complete training and reference documents
• Provider specific trending reports outlining documentation concerns
Hospital Registration and Support Staff
Having accurate and complete patient demographic information is a critical component in the coding and billing process. CPR conducts onsite meetings with the registration department to discuss the hospital's current policies and procedures. Since CPR will be working closely with the hospital's registration department, these meetings will help solidify a good working relationship.
